What’s your day job?

Well, I’m the President and Founder of this here organization, but I’m also a writer, photographer, event planner, branding manager, digital strategist…you name it, I do it. I work IT in fashion.

What’s your favourite thing about blogging?

The ability to be vocal about my passions on my own turf with my own rules, the chance to unleash my creativity, the opportunities it has granted me and the democratization of fashion!

Hobbies:

Eating. As evidenced by my ever expanding thighs. Shopping. As evidenced by my ever expanding wardrobe. Taking Photographs. As evidenced by my ever shrinking hard drive.

How would you describe your personal style?

Preppy with a hint of stupid. I stole that.

What is your favourite thing about Los Angeles?

It has EVERYTHING. Mountains, Oceans, Forests, Fields, Desert, Gritty Cities, Posh Cities, History. I find something new to love everyday.

How did you start blogging?

I was designing accessories and began blogging for my business in 2007. I wanted to discuss fashion on less of a business level, so I started Dedicated Follower of Fashion in early 2009.

Favourite designer and why?

Antoni + Alison for their utter irreverence.

Alexander McQueen for my dreams.

Tibi, Lauren Moffatt, Marni, Leifsdottir for everything else.

Favourite store/bar/restaurant/activity in Los Angeles?

Store: Shareens Vintage/Ron Herman.

Bar: Whatever’s near by.

Restaurant: Malo/Shojin/Tiara Cafe/IHOP.

What is your most prized material possession?

iPhone/Macbook. Literally cannot live without either.

What beauty item could you not live without?

This random colour changing mood lipstick I bought in bulk in Chinatown.
