This time last week members of Two Point Oh! LA gathered at the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica for the Lucky FABB conference. Member, Kiara Schwartz, was there:

She had me at “Hello”. The Lucky Magazine Editor in Chief, Brandon Holley, had an opening speech that captured everyone’s excitement for the day ahead. “I want to help you quit your day job so you can blog full-time” One of Brandon’s first quotes.

Each of the panels were so informative, I wish there were more time for each panelist to speak. Every panel was packed with incredibly successful entrepreneurs, including fashion power duo Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr from “Who What Wear”. Every panel had one piece of advice in common, stay true to your voice.

It didn’t seem like we were speaking with an A-list celebrity during Jessica Alba’s conversation regarding her and Christopher Gavigans company Honest. Jessica was a concerned new mother, like any other, and proved that finding your niche is the key to a successful business.

Bright colours, high heels and wedges and mixed prints seemed to be the dominating Lucky Fabb trends and more than once the Lucky Magazine staffed commented on what a wonderful group of stylish and colourful attendees we were.  Above: Tiara Henry of The Dope Girl, Liuba Shapiro of Survive Wedding Season and Stephanie Liu of Honey & Silk.

Lucky Fabb West, I am sure I am speaking for all of us, we will see you next time. Brandon, the Editor in Chief of Lucky Magazine, stated that Lucky Fabb is her all time favorite event. We can’t wait to see where this goes.
